What are Eco Discord Points and Eco App Points?

Eco Discord Points are being used in the Ecoverse as rewards for outstanding contributions within Eco’s official Discord community. Eco App Points are used to reward purchases with the Eco App. Users of the app earn 1.5 app points per dollar whenever they spend with Eco—on top of their cash back!

Eco Discord Points and Eco App Points are for research purposes only. They have no monetary value and they are not used as currency or work token. Points aren’t powered by the blockchain either. They’re just that: Points.

How can I earn Eco Discord Points?

There are many different ways you can earn Eco Discord Points, here’s an overview:

  • Community Participation: be an active member of the community, help other members if they have a question, welcome them to the community -> just be helpful, kind and good-spirited

  • Bounty Challenges: Eco hosts a variety of different bounties. Have a look at #🏅content-bounties and #🏆other-bounties. By participating in these bounties and by providing quality submissions, you can quickly earn Eco Points
  • Initiatives: Just start an initiative on your own or with other members. If it provides value to the ecosystem, you will most definitely be rewarded
  • Helping out others: if you’re active in here, you will notice members offering rewards if you help them with something
  • Special opportunities: Read the pinned messages for special opportunities

How can I earn Eco App Points?

App users can earn Eco App Points, here’s an overview:

  • Eco App: Users of the Eco app are rewarded for their usage (1.5 points per dollar spend). Right now, the app is available for iPhone users in some states in the US. Please note: Eco Points in the app are not the same as Eco Points in Discord.

  • Paying rent: Each month Eco will send a physical check to your landlord, and in return you’ll receive 0.4 Eco Points for each dollar of rent that you pay! The only requirement is that your landlord is able to accept physical checks, and has a U.S. mailing address that is not a P.O. Box.

  • Even more: 1.5 Eco Points per Dollar spent at Eco’s supported merchants (on top of earning 5% cash back!)
    16 Eco Points for every dollar of interest you earn each month
    160 Eco Points for every successful referral that you make
