Introduction to the Eco App
With the Eco App, you can earn 2.5% on your balance (up to 5% when you refer friends) and get a 5% cashback for purchases at your favorite merchants. The app enables you to manage all your everyday finances in one place. If you want to get started with the Eco App, this is the right place for you. In the following, we are going to detail how you can get the app. We will also walk you through the first steps of using the app, including funding your account and making purchases.
How can I get the Eco App?
The Eco App is in beta and is only available on iOS for users in the United States in an eligible state. Eco is not yet available in these US states: HI, TX, NY, CT, NH, VA or VT.

How can I register an Eco account?
Registering your account is straightforward: simply download the app, install it, and follow the instructions by entering your email and filling out your details. In the next step, you can verify your ID.
How can I deposit to my Eco account?
There are three options you can choose from if you want to fund your Eco account. We’ll explain all three of them in the following:
Linking your bank account through the App
- Go to your Profile Settings by tapping the icon with your name in the upper left-hand corner of the home screen
- Select Manage Accounts
- Select New Account
- Follow the prompts to add your bank account
- Once you’ve linked your bank account, navigate back to the home screen and tap on Total Balance
- Tap Deposit, and select the account you just linked. You’ll then be able to initiate a deposit.
Setting a recurring deposit from your payroll

Sending a direct bank transfer (one-time or recurring)

Creating a Recurring Deposit
Eco enables recurring deposits from your linked bank account. Here are the steps to do so:
Setting up a recurring deposit through the App
- Select your Total Balance from the Eco app home screen
- Tap the button marked Schedule a recurring deposit
- Select the amount and frequency for your recurring deposit
- Tap Deposit to schedule your deposit
That’s it!
You’re now ready to use the Eco App to earn interest and to receive a cashback on all your purchases through the app.
